“As a college student, I struggled and was given scripture to memorize, and accountability partners, but still couldn’t figure out why my behaviors were not matching the theology I held onto. Engaging our stories of the past, doing a trauma-informed discipleship, gave a reason why at 20 something, at 30 something, at 40 something my behaviors still did not match the scripture I held so dearly; story work started to give me a why so that I could change my how.”
